Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar are organising the Virtual Education Forum 2021 on 3rd April, in light of the critical repercussions of COVID-19 on education.

“Visions and aspirations beyond challenges"

This Forum, held by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar, seeks to bring together educational experts and professionals to discuss and share views on the issues of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) with the aim to:

1- Share local, Arab and international experiences to develop positive trends towards ESD;
2- Promote the impact of school curricula to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
3- Explore ways to ensure alignment between education outputs and the needs of the labour market and sustainable development;
5- Find new visions in Early Childhood Education;
6- Highlight the role of educational supervision and educational leadership in promoting teachers’ sustainable professional development;
6- Foster community partnerships towards achieving ESD.

The Forum will address a range of issues and practices in panel discussions presented by university faculty members and professionals from different participating entities with a particular focus on the role of technology and education developments post COVID-19. The Forum targets all those interested in education in Qatar and abroad. Participation will be online.
