UNICEF Rwanda Call for Expression of Interest: Access to Education – Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities
UNICEF Rwanda has issued a Call for Expression of Interest (EoI) to identify eligible Civil Society Organisations (CSO) for prospective partnership(s). Eligible CSOs are invited to submit proposals to support achievement of results for children (2018-2022). UNICEF Rwanda aims to support the Rwandan Ministry of Education around four outputs. The Call for EoI is intended to source partnership(s) to support activities under Output 2: Children, from early childhood to adolescence, including vulnerable children, have increased access to inclusive basic education.
To ensure relevant programming, UNICEF interventions will be aligned to the Rwandan Ministry of Education’s Education Sector Strategic Plan 2018/19-2024/25, Strategic Priority 7: “Equitable opportunities for all Rwandan children and young people at all levels of education”; Outcome 7.2: Increase the participation and achievement of children with disabilities and SEN at all levels of education”.
Through this Call for EoI, UNICEF is seeking a CSO partner to help implement two components of the Access to Education programme:
1. Support to Pre-service/ Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs)
2. Support to access to education for children with disabilities
