British Council Canada is working with UK Trade & Investment and Rockridge Secondary School to hold a UK Universities Fair.  The aim is to support UK university reps to meet with independent school counsellors, their nominated students, and those students’ parents.

We are planning the UK Universities Fair around the Recruit in Canada Spring 2014 date for Vancouver (Wednesday 26 February). 

The fair will take place in Vancouver on Thursday 27 February from 5:45pm.

The UK Universities Fair plan is as follows:

• Event hosted at Rockridge Secondary School.
• Approximately twenty Canadian schools involved in the event.
• Each school counsellor invites most relevant and interested students (and the students’ parents) with regards to attending university in the UK.
• Participating universities can each host a small table with information about their programmes.
• There will be several short talks on the most frequently asked questions, for example international cost comparisons and UCAS application processes.
• There will be a pre-fair reception for networking between UK university reps and Vancouver school counsellors.
• The cost to participating universities will be £150 ex-VAT + optional transportation costs.
