UK Providers needed to train 500 school teachers to pass English Language Teaching Knowledge Test
As part of the Government’s Trilingual Policy (Russian, Kazakh and English), all school teachers in Kazakhstan will be required to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) subjects in English by September 2017. As a result, school teachers delivering in English will need to pass Cambridge English’s Teaching Knowledge Test.
Therefore, teachers who are currently deficient in English will need English language professional development. As an initial pilot, 500 teachers will undergo training to pass the test.
Providers are sought for the delivery of this pilot.
