The British Council in India are delighted to invite you to counsel students and meet faculty representatives at premium schools and colleges across 21 cities in India. This flagship event will allow you to meet UG and PG international recruitment goals through a single visit to India.

This tour is designed to be a single-stop and successful recruitment platform for UK institutions looking to recruit or build sustainable partnerships in India and an opportunity to gain local market knowledge. Over the last six years, UK HEIs have engaged with more than 11,500 students and 275 schools/colleges across various cities in India through these tours. It is also an opportunity for UK HEIs to gain local market knowledge by meeting school/college counsellors across India.

The UG PG Tour 2019 aims to:

•provide a platform for UK institutions to promote their institution and showcase their courses at local schools and colleges for recruitment or partnership purposes

•provide a forum where UK institutions can interact and counsel prospective students

•provide an opportunity where UK HEIs can interact with school and college counsellors and other key faculty members to discuss future recruitment opportunities and collaborations

•provide an opportunity to raise their profile and develop a network with local schools and colleges across key cities in India

•provide an opportunity to gain local market intelligence of the Indian higher education landscape, student insight and mobility trends

•Additionally, if requested by the host HEI there will be an opportunity to convene a session on writing a statement of purpose.
