UK higher education institutions are requested to invite their offer holders to the British Council’s Pre-departure briefing on 9 August 2022 for students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.  This is for students holding conditional or unconditional offers, expected to travel to the UK in autumn 2022 to start their studies in the UK.

The pre-departure briefing will help students prepare for their move to the UK and will have UKVI advise on student visa applications and timelines, accommodation, alumni experience and other aspects of living in the UK.

Who can attend?

The event is for students from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal who have received a conditional or confirmed offer from a UK institution to begin their course in the UK in autumn/winter 2022. The session is free of charge and parents are welcome to attend as well.
