SIEM wraparound activities/services around the 3rd Annual Qatar International College Fair (QICF)

The British Council in Qatar is delighted to open recruitment for the wraparound activities/services around the 3^rd annual QICF. Since the Supreme Education Council (SEC) will be offering limited logistical support to participants with no accommodation, we are glad to inform you that we managed to negotiate very good corporate rates with a 5 star hotel, located near by the exhibition centre, in November which is a high season in Qatar. Therefore, we are offering different packages covering logistics, business events and social & cultural activities. Institutions are granted the flexibility to opt for any package or activity they want. The packages are:

Events

Market Briefing on Sunday 3rd Nov at 20:00	£150 per person	Venue TBC; we can be flexible on time depending on arrival time of registered institutions
Networking Lunch on Monday 4th Nov at 13:30	£49 per person	The networking lunch is organised in partnership with the Examinations Department, British Council Qatar. We will be inviting Qatari delegates from the Qatari government, education sector and scholarship providers. Details about the venue will be communicated soon.

Social and Cultural Activities

Social Dinner for UK institutions at Katara (Khan Farouq)	£23 per person or £32 per person including Sheesha	Khan Farouq offers Egyptian cuisine and they have a very exciting atmosphere and lively Egyptian band, but no belly dancer ☺. If you have any dietary preference, please let us know.
Visit to Museum of the Islamic Arts	FREE if you opt for the logistics package! Otherwise, it will cost £5 per person

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation fees will be charged for withdrawal from this event, as of the date of receipt of notice of withdrawal:

At 50 per cent of the full package(s) cost for withdrawals received on or after 19th October 2013
At 100 per cent of the full package(s) cost for withdrawals received on or after 25th October 2013

Notice of withdrawal must be supplied in writing, via email to rawan.khir@qa.britishcouncil.org
