The British Embassy in Athens with the support of the British Council are holding two events in Greece to showcase the UK higher education opportunities available to prospective local students for studies in the UK and UK programmes delivered in Greece. The events will take place in Athens and Thessaloniki in February 2024 and expect to attract both prospective undergraduate students from international schools and Greek secondary schools as well as postgraduate students from the largest universities in Athens and Thessaloniki and other cities nearby. Participating institutions will meet these students and build connections with school counsellors, university career advisors and agents representing UK universities.

The events will take place on the following dates:

• Athens: Wednesday 21 February 2024, 13.00 – 18.00
• Thessaloniki: Thursday 22 February 2024, 13.00 – 17.00

What do I gain by joining these events in Greece?

• The opportunity to engage directly with prospective students, counsellors and agents.
• Targeted promotion to school and university counsellors in Athens, Thessaloniki and surrounding areas.
• Estimated number of visitors 1,500 at both venues.

There will be a nominal participation fee of 500 GBP for both events which will be paid to the British Embassy.

Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Delegates will need to cover their costs for travel, accommodation and material delivery/dispatch. We will not be able to arrange for dispatch/collection of materials Given the space capacity of both venues, registrations will be accepted on a first-in-first-served basis.
