British Council is organising a mission in the cities of Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Vadodara maximising UK institutions’ visit to India during the Education UK exhibition in November.  The mission shall help the UK institutions in widening their geographical reach in potential cities in addition to participation at the exhibitions.

The mission will create a platform to explore opportunities in recruitment with the help of presentations and table top exhibitions delivered by UK Institutions.

Schools mission in Gujarat:
The mission in the cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara will be a platform to explore undergraduate recruitment from 2 to 6 December 2013.

UG/PG mission in Jaipur:
The mission in Jaipur will target visits to both Schools and Higher Education Institutions from 20 to 22 November 2013.

The list of probable institutions will be shared once we receive the minimum expressions of interest from UK institutions.

Important:

• Dates: Schools visit, Gujarat: 2 to 6 December 2013. UG/PG mission, Jaipur: 20 to 22 November 2013.
• This mission is open only to UK Institutions and selection will be on first-come-first-serve basis.
• Agents and alumni will not be allowed to participate on behalf of the UK institution
• The event will be open to a minimum of 4 UK institutions
• Only one delegate per institution will be allowed to participate.

Costs:

• UK delegates to fund their international/local travel, accommodation and related expenses.
• Local travel within the cities and the publicity of events will be covered by the British Council
• Participation fee - Schools visit, Gujarat: £850 plus VAT, UG/PG mission, Jaipur: £800 plus VAT. A 10% discount will be applicable if the institution participates in both the missions.
