Russian TV channel is seeking UK educational institutions for TV programme - April 2017

British Council is pleased to announce a new opportunity for UK institutions to get more visibility in the Urals region of Russia by being featured in the morning show “Morning Express” on Channel 4. 

Russia is a big recruiting market for educational sector with a good potential for further development. Yekaterinburg is one of the largest centres of education and scientific research, with the forth-largest young population in Russia. Being a heart cultural and social activity, it is also a centre of economically highly developed region of the Russian Federation. 
The press tour will take place in April (dates TBC). The group will consist of 3 people (2 channel representatives, accompanying by the British Council representative). 

About Channel 4
4th TV Channel runs in Yekaterinburg since 1991 and successfully collaborates with the major Russia TV channels. The stories captured during the tour will be featured in the “Morning Express” programme broadcasted live daily. 

Coverage: Nationwide
Market share: 16%
Audience: 26% - Youth under 25 y/o, 51% - 25 - 44 y/o. 40% - higher education, 45% - secondary education.

About “Morning Express”
Prime-time TV programme “Morning Express” has a dynamic concept, creating the attractive stories of the trending topics. Representatives of “Morning Express” programme are looking for unique, traditional, refreshing, imaginative, eye catching and the most attractive things to show. 
Target audience:  school and college students, parents and youth.

 

Each hosting institution is expected to provide accommodation for one night for the group of 3 people (2 channel representatives, accompanying by the British Council representative), transfer from/to rail station if relevant and lunch during the visit.

Visit:
24 April, 2017 - 28 April, 2017

Participation fee:
1000 GBP (+VAT) per institution.

Participation Fee includes: 
Visit of 2 "Channel 4" camera crew representatives, accompanied by the British Council staff. 
1 full day of video filming.
