The British Council in Nigeria delivered a workshop on funding and sustainability in the Nigerian HE sector from 20 - 21 November 2018. The objective of the dialogue was to facilitate discourse between key stakeholders at practice level to support institutional level reform and best practice in the area of funding and sustainability. We worked with UK and Nigeria partners to improve understanding of the relationship and inter dependencies between funding streams in the Higher Education Sector. It also enhanced the understanding of Nigerian HEIs on the development of governance practices and risk management processes that support a sustainable funding environment.

Following the dialogue, we welcome expressions of interest from UK organisations/institutions to provide some training on developing sustainable funding models for the higher education sector.
