Register your interest for a Russia press tour with a TV channel

Take the opportunity to get an exclusive coverage of your institution by one of the private TV channels in Ekaterinburg (Ural region/Siberian part of Russia). Being one of the most populated areas of Russia Urals is a prominent industrial region with a lot of potential and large GDP due to the urban economic activity.

The 4th TV Channel has run in Ekaterinburg since 1991 and successfully collaborates with the major Russia TV channels. The stories captured during the tour will be featured in the “Morning Express” programme broadcasted live daily.

The aim of the tour is to raise awareness and increase understanding of UK education and present this information to potential students and business partners. To make the stories even more attractive the representatives of “Morning Express” programme will be looking for unique, traditional, cutting edge, refreshing, imaginative, surprising… Whatever you could suggest as the best UK tourist attractions, from cultural sightseeing highlights to expert recommendations in your area.

2016 the Year of Language and Literature (YLL) will celebrate British and Russian linguistic and literary traditions across both countries. 2016 also sees the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death and the British Council will be marking this globally through the Shakespeare Lives programme. We will be glad to include stories related to this in the press tour itinerary.

The dates of the tour: April 2016 (dates TBC)

Participation fee: 1200 GBP+ VAT per institution

Each hosting institution is also expected to provide accommodation for one night for the group of 3 people, transfer from/to rail station if applicable and we would be grateful if lunch during the visit can be provided as well.

The group will visit 5 institutions.
