British Council Thailand is organising a pre-departure briefing for UK institution offer holders on Saturday 19 May 2012 from 2.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. on the 23rd floor, Centara Grand at Central World (BTS Siam or BTS Chidlom).

The events will provide necessary information on studying and living in the UK including a student visa briefing by colleagues from UKBA, useful information from the British Council, an alumni interview to gather information from first hand experience, and a meeting with alumni.

UK institutions planning to hold their own pre-departure briefing in Thailand around the same time are welcome to take part in this event and receive the following services:

• a breakout room at the Centara Grand at Central World for the institution to do a pre-departure briefing for their offer holders after the briefing and activities by British Council. The room includes presentation equipment.
• bookings for the briefing and enquiries will be managed and dealt with by British Council.
• university alumni will be co-ordinated by British Council if needed.

The management fee for this service and the room and facilities hire at the hotel is £550 (excluding 7% VAT).

UK institutions are also welcome to invite their offer holders to this pre-departure briefing. Admission is free.
