Partnership opportunity with Helwan University- Egypt, in delivering Masters in aviation programme offered by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management through TNE in Egypt

Established in 1975, Helwan University is one of the most significant Universities in Egypt. The University has 18 faculties including a Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Computers & Information. The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management is made up of three departments; the department of tourism studies, the department of tourist guidance and the department of hotel management
In 1981, postgraduate courses for PhD and masters degrees began in the three departments. The faculty also accepted university graduates from Egypt and other Arab countries, for the higher diploma (2 years) in the three departments. Also in the same year, a hotel was built and attached to the faculty. This hotel consists of a teaching kitchen, guest rooms, dining hall and a meeting hall.
Recently the faculty has created several programmes such as:
1- Master in Museum studies
2- Master in Heritage Conservation and Management of sites
3- Master in Aviation Management (first in the Middle East)

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, has established a programme to offer a Master degree in Aviation.
This programme is considered to be the second of its kind that grants this specialized degree in the Middle East region. This contributes to increase the efficiency of Human Resources in the airline industry.

Action Required

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management is looking for a UK partner to deliver their Masters in aviation programme offered through a dual degree programme, where students will learn and sit for exams in Helwan University campus and receive at the end of their 2 and half years of study a certificate from the UK validating partner.
Attached is the discription of the Master in Aviation Management (MAM).
