Opportunity for UK university students to work as language volunteers in Ukraine in summer

GoCamp is a new format of innovative English summer camps in Ukraine where volunteers from all over the world share their experience, values and culture with Ukrainian schoolchildren.
GoCamp is part of the GoGlobal initiative supported by the Ukraine’s Ministry of Education.
Ukraine has become a hotspot for international volunteers. In June 2017 GoGlobal aims to bring 1000 volunteers and involve thousands of children within GoCamp. Applicants from 125 countries all over the world have already expressed an interest to join the project. Everyone who is over 18 years old and speaks English fluently can become a GoCamp volunteer.
A volunteer of the project will spend 3 weeks in a Ukrainian school working with kids and helping them to learn competences and skills required for modern life: critical thinking, tolerance, civic education and leadership. In fact, the volunteer will become a mentor and friend for schoolchildren and contribute to raising a new generation of active and conscious Ukrainian citizens with open and strong mindset, who will become the leaders sharing modern values.
Oksana Nechyporenko, director of the GlobalOffice NGO will be in the UK the week beginning 13 February and would be willing to visit some universities to promote the volunteering opportunity in person.
