Opportunity for UK universities to partner with Kuwait University College of Business for student exchanges

College of Business, which is part of Kuwait University is interested in collaborating with Business schools at UK universities for their student exchange programme

CBA (http://kuweb.ku.edu.kw/COBA/index.htm) has a well-established Student Exchange Program (SEP) since 2006, to enhance the academic, cultural, and social career of students in Kuwait and abroad. CBA had earned its’ initial academic accreditation in 2005 by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Furthermore, CBA considered as one of the top Arabian institution that started to implement the Students Exchange Program in the Arab Region.

CBA have send and receive students to accredited business schools all over the globe for more than 10 years. Students have financial and health support. Moreover, they will provide students free meals, transportation and accommodation at KU students housing.

CBA offers many undergraduate and graduate degrees, with most of courses taught in English (80%). The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Programs, undergraduate majors offered are;

Incoming Student will be given the following complimentary services by Kuwait University:

1. Academic Expenses: All expenses are covered for CBA-KU Courses while incoming student is responsible for the expenses of the courses organised outside CBA-KU. Kuwait University also offers support program via Language Centre and the Centre for Community Services and Continuing Education. (see attachedd in CBA factsheet)
2. Accommodation: Free accommodation and meals, availability of accommodation depends on the number of the KU incoming students received per semester.
3. Transportation: Kuwait University provides incoming student a free pick & drop service from Kuwait International Airport. Busses are free and available within Kuwait University campuses.
4. Tours: Students Exchange Office arranges tour around Kuwait once per a semester accompanied by SEP coordinator in order to explore Kuwaiti Heritage.

About Kuwait University;

Kuwait University (KU), was officially inaugurated on 27 November 1966 to include the College of Science, the College of Arts, the College of Education and the College for Women. The university is the state’s first and only public institution of higher education and research.The university aims to preserve and transmit knowledge through scholarship, and encourage innovation and development in the arts and the sciences. It comprises 17 colleges offering 76 undergraduate, 71 graduate programs. The university facilities are spread over six campuses, offering programs in the sciences, engineering, humanities, medical and social sciences. Students are awarded Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees.
