New Education Policy (NEP) and Equalisation Levy (EL): LIVE panel discussion for UK HEIs - India

The British Council in India is organising a panel discussion for UK education institutions to understand the New Education Policy (NEP) and Equalisation Levy (EL). The aim of the webinar is to bring together key policy makers, academics and experts to discuss the new National Education Policy and provide clarity around the Equalisation Levy (EL).

Background

The Government of India has recently approved the National Education Policy 2020, paving way for transformational reforms in higher education. The new policy places significant emphasis on internationalisation, sustainable development and collaborations of research.

The webinar will focus on the following:

  • Most crucial aspects of the National Education Policy 2020 
  • What the main opportunities are for international education destinations
  • What the main changes around international education policy are and how this will change the education landscape in India
  • Will the National Education Policy enable India to become the next international powerhouse in education?

Please note the webinar will firstly focus on the NEP followed by EL, UK institutions are encouraged to join the whole webinar, including the Q&A at the end.
