The Board of Investment (BOI), the national investment promotion agency of the Government of Mauritius, in collaboration with the British High Commission Mauritius and the British Council is organising the third edition of the Mauritius International Knowledge Investment Forum (MIKIF), which will be held on 4th of March 2014 at The Waldorf Hilton in London.

The Mauritius International Knowledge Investment Forum (www.mikif.com) is an annual event organised by the Board of Investment to showcase opportunities and latest trends in higher education. The first and second editions of MIKIF was attended by more than 300 key decision makers, namely Vice-Chancellors, higher education experts, business professionals, policy makers, venture capitalists and potential investors from more than 20 countries.

MIKIF 2014 will focus on emerging trends and opportunities in higher education in Africa and how Mauritius is positioning itself as the education hub of Africa. The panel discussions of MIKIF 2014 are as follows: Internationalisation of higher education and student mobility in Africa, Addressing the growing human resource requirements in Africa, Mauritius: The Higher Education Platform of Africa and Developing meaningful collaborations – Success Stories.
