Finding our way through a new era of international education (FE)

This session will discuss the innovative approaches being put in place to thrive in the new era of international education. The panel will explore how the current situation is impacting the further education sector, reviewing the key challenges that are faced and the changes in strategy that have been made in order to adapt to changing market conditions. Student sentiment will also be examined, as the panel outline the support and welfare implications that have arisen.

Transnational education – adapting to and fostering ‘new world’ partnerships

This session will present strategies to evolve TNE propositions. As the higher education sector faces potential long-term restrictions on inbound students, our panel will highlight the importance of working with TNE partners to maintain student figures. The session will explore the measures that are fundamental to managing a portfolio of TNE partners, the process for establishing new successful networks, and the importance of quality control within the new environment.

Effective support and student services for international students

This session will highlight practices for providing effective support and services for international students. As proven student support and welfare could become the deciding factor for many students considering study in the UK, our panel highlight best practice scenarios to better support international students. This session will discuss the importance of thorough student services and showcases a five phase transition programme created to facilitate more effective lines of communication.
