Going Global Partnerships introduces the 2024–25 edition of its Industry Academia Collaborative Grants, to promote collaboration between UK and Indian institutions and industry partners.

About the grants

The grants will support three-way partnerships between one UK institution, one Indian institution and one industry partner, from either the UK or India.

Partnerships can collaborate on areas including product/process innovation, course/module development, research, knowledge creation, increasing employability, and providing opportunities for learners to work on new technologies and challenges.

The grants aim to catalyse partnerships that will enable academia and industry to work in sync, prepare work-ready graduates, reduce on-the-job training costs, and make learners more employable. 

Who can apply

UK institution

• Any higher education provider with degree-awarding powers.
• Not-for-profit research institutions, establishment and organisations (check the Call Guidance document available at the below link).
• Any public or private organisations with a role in the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET)/Further Education (FE) system. 

Indian insitution

• Tertiary higher education institutions (public or private) that are recognised by the state government or central government and their institutions, such as the UGC (University Grants Commission) or AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
• Not-for-profit research institutions and organisations.

Industry partner

• For-profit/commercial organisations, including micro, small, medium and large enterprises.
