With reference to the news published on 3rd February titled "Call for bids to deliver tailored ELT and HND in the UK for a group from Qatar", the client has kindly agreed to extend the deadline of receivng bids until 17th February 2016.  They are expecting a detailed proposal including a breakdown of costs and the mapping of their requirements to your offer.  Bids should be ssent to Rawan Khir by 23:59 17th February UK Time, who will then be sharing all received bids with the client first thing on 18th February.

Below is a list of FAQs that can help you when submitting your proposal.  Please ensure you are also consulting the attached detailed file.

• Is London excluded as a whole, or can you consider institutions situated in London zones 5 or 6?

Answer : We prefer to exclude London as requested by the “Final Customer” 

• Can institutions outside England, such as Wales, Scotland and Northern Irland, be considered for this bid?

Answer : we prefer England. Scotland,  Wales and Northern Irland are not completely excluded but they are the “last chance”

• What student age are we expecting?

Answer: You could consider from 20 to 30 years old (we are waiting for detailed list at the end of March).

• If a provider only offers ELT, do they have to partner with another Diploma provider and submit one proposal?

Answer : We prefer to have only one point of contact that will follow all the training path (ELTC and Foundation). We prefer to have a partnership between the ELT and Foundation providers because the training management will be the same for all the training path and we have a unique representative contact in charge of all management aspects of the contract and exchange of related documentation.

• Will the contract be with you and the provider directly or will Qatar Emiri Supreme Council be involved as well?

Answer : The QESC is not involved in the contract. It is important that the Foundation Diploma is accredited and accepted by QESC.

• What is the budget of the programme, for ELTC and for the foundation training?

Answer : Please send us the quotation and then we will talk about that matter.

​ • for the English language Training Courses, can you clarify point 20 (at 4.1). Are you saying that only a maximum of 4 students from this project can be in in any one class and that the maximum number of students per class is 8, i.e. they can join with other international students but the total class size can only be 8?

Answer : We prefer to have classroom of maximum 4 students, but in order to decrease the number of teachers and classrooms we want also a quotation with a class size of 8 students that must be only our students in both the cases.
