Last year British Council India partnered with 36 UK universities to award 370 joint scholarships worth almost one million pounds under the GREAT Education campaign.

Given the positive impact of this, we are delighted to announce that we are opening applications for GREAT Scholarships – India 2015. We have increased the resource for scholarships this year. We hope you will participate in this opportunity.

The GREAT Britain campaign is the Government’s most ambitious international marketing campaign ever and showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer in order to encourage the world to visit, study and do business with the UK. It supports the Prime Minister’s ‘global race for growth’ and Olympic Legacy programme. The campaign is currently active in over 86 countries

The programme is funded by GREAT and commits one pound for every two pounds your university commits to a scholarship. This can create a full or partly funded scholarship award.

Please find attached the details of the programme along with the application form. The deadline to submit the completed application form and bid is 31 July 2014.
