UKSDM (www.uksdm.org) requires institutional partners to establish training centers in Uttarakhand to train unemployed youth across 36 varied job generating trade sectors and offer recruitment services as per the sectors skills councils’ framework, qualification packs, curriculum and staff requirements. No cost will be paid by UKSDM for setting up the training centers or training of trainers.

The training duration has to be minimum of 200 hours (including practical and/or on the job training) with minimum 60 hrs of training in digital lliteracy, soft skills and entrepreneurship. The funds for training delivery would be released to the training providers in three instalments as per the norms of sector skills councils’ training fee per candidate and upon successful placement rate of minimum 70% at the end of the training module.

Scope of the work:

1. Training provider has to set up a training center in two sectors from the prescribed list of trade sectors ranging from aerospace to healthcare and tourism. For the complete list refer the notification document.
2. Funds would be provided by UKSDM towards training fee per candidate as per sector skills councils’ prescribed rates and guidelines.
3. Tools and equipment should be available as per SSC trade syllabus and meet all space, infrastructure and staff requirements.

Student Mobilisation and placement of minimum 50% trainees in reputed Industries has to be achieved.
