The British Council Turkey is offering this unique opportunity for UK education advisors those give guidance to students who want to study in the UK. There are more than 100 advisors have successfully completed the training in Turkey since 2005.

Programme schedule:

Start date: Monday 7 April 2014
Finish date: Friday 30 May 2014

The programme is designed for UK education advisors with different needs and profiles (Agents, College Counsellors and International Departments of Turkish Universities) by British Council. Advisors will be able to strengthen their relations with UK education providers and provide a better quality service to their students. They will build their skills, knowledge and capability to work effectively on behalf of their organisation.

The 8-week online training will enable advisors to:

• effectively promote UK education and provide high-quality information, resources and services to potential international students
• develop their skills in finding the information they need and how to regularly update their knowledge
• enhance their career prospect if they are not in the sector but would like to become a UK education advisor
• qualify for a certificate that they and their organisation can benefit from since it is well-recognized by all UK Institutions including British Council accredited language schools, boarding schools, colleges, universities, UCAS and also for prospective students seeking advice for UK study opportunities

The Education UK Certificate Programme will include:

• detailed information on recent changes about the UK Visa and immigration rules
• up-to-date information about living in the UK
• vital information about UK qualifications and study
• continuing support throughout the training and a web based online workshop run by British Council’s experienced team of experts

Participants those successfully pass all components of the course, they will be awarded with a plaque and certificate* and listed on the Global Advisors List (GAL) website that will be launched in October.

The cost of this quality is £350 excluding VAT (please check Turkish Lira equivalent with the country team).
