The Education UK Alumni Awards is a new British Council initiative which celebrates the outstanding achievements made by business professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders who have studied in the UK.

The awards are open to alumni from India, mainland China and the USA who have returned home after completing their higher education studies in the UK, and graduated less than 10 years ago.

Finalists will be invited to gala award ceremonies attended by leaders from government, industry and education, as well as other outstanding alumni. Each winner will receive a free return trip to the UK, including a tailored programme in the industry of their choice to enhance their professional knowledge and networks.

Applications are open until 24 November 2014.
