Over 20 years Bolashak International Scholarship has been awarded to 10,363 Kazakhstanis for studying at the top 200 universities of 33 countries of the world. At present 53% of all state-funded Bolashak scholars are studying at British universities. This year, a pilot project on implementing a split-Ph.D 50/50 programme was launched by the Centre of International Programs. The project is targeted at the local staff to help them obtain doctoral degrees in Kazakhstan as well as in partner foreign universities.
