Call for expression of interest from UK HEIs to participate in a roundtable on Accreditation, Quality Improvement and Ranking in Higher Education by an Indian state government
Telangana State Government is organising a Roundtable on Accreditation, Quality Improvement and Ranking in Higher Education – Road Map Ahead on 8 and 9 July 2019 in Hyderabad. The objective of this roundtable is to share best practices that will help the Telangana State Higher Education Council to improve Quality Improvement and Ranking in Higher Education within the state institutions.
This opportunity is for UK HEIs to send their representatives who works in quality or accreditation to be a part of the roundtable organised on 9 July where they can share best practices followed in UK or at their UK institution. On Monday 8 July there will be technical sessions by NAAC and UGC. UK representatives participating and contributing at the roundtable are requested to reach Hyderabad by Sunday 7 July.
Details of participation
The British Council will provide the participating UK HEI a travel grant of £1000 to cover international return economy class air tickets, visas and other related costs incurred in the UK. Local hospitality and in-India costs including local transport, accommodation and meals will be arranged and paid by the British Council or hosts. You will need to apply for an Indian visa. This could take up to three weeks’ time. Therefore, we would suggest you express your interest at the earliest enabling us to confirm your participation so that you could initiate this process at the earliest.
