British Council India announces its annual pre-departure briefings for Indian students

British Council India is organising its annual pre-departure briefings for Indian students who have received a confirmed offer from a UK institution to begin their course in the UK in August/ September 2017. These sessions will provide guidance and advice on important do’s and don’ts while they prepare for student life in the UK. During the session there will be an opportunity for students to meet and network with fellow students who have enrolled to study at a UK institution.

The briefing will include an interactive session with UK alumni who will share their exciting experiences in the UK as well as a session on ‘Tier 4 student visa applications and related procedures’ which will be delivered by officers from UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) at each session in each city listed below. The briefing will also include information about UK culture, food, transportation in the UK, accommodation options and more.

  • 18-Jul Pune – Venue: British Council Pune
  • 18-Jul Hyderabad  – Venue:  British Council Hyderabad
  • 19-Jul Chennai  – Venue: British Council Chennai
  • 21-Jul Bangalore  – Venue:  British Council Bangalore
  • 22-Jul Mumbai  – Venue:  British Council Mumbai
  • 25-Jul Ahmedabad  – Venue:  British Council Ahmedabad
  • 27-Jul Delhi  – Venue:  British Council Delhi
  • 28-Jul Kolkata  – Venue:  British Council Kolkata

 

The sessions will be held at British Council offices. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each attendee will be charged a nominal fee to participate.
