Badr University in Cairo (BUC) is submitting a regional proposal to the European Commission, ‘Empowerment of Young Women and Men in the Neighbourhood South through Media’ (LOT 2). Reference:EuropeAid/155449/DH/ACT/Multi. The deadline for submission of concept notes is 27/06/2017.
The proposed year-long project will include activities in Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Jordan and Palestine. The maximum grant for LOT 2 is 3,000,000 Euros.
The regional objective is to develop pedagogical approaches to enhance cross-cultural, civic engagement, leadership and soft skills development that best meets the needs of today’s public affairs and innovatively addresses social challenges through the use of media, particularly public broadcasting as a vector.
Badr University Cairo in consultation with its partners and affiliates are in the process of finalising the concept note.
