In the morning on 15 May, Zhejiang University and Imperial College London signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish Zhejiang University - Imperial College Union College. Jin Deshui, party secretary of Zhejiang University, and Sir Keith O'Nions, president of Imperial College London, signed the memorandum.
