Yuan Guiren: Gaokao plan -- key point and difficulty of examination reform, is in discussion

Education Minister Yuan Guiren was interviewed on the morning of 9th March. Yuan said the reform of national college entrance exams (Gaokao) is a difficult yet key point in overall examination reform. The college admissions system will not return to its old path and mistakes will be avoided. One of the key reform measures being undertaken is that national college entrance exams will now be based on the whole curriculum. This will mean exams being designed to cover both science and liberal arts courses.
