Vietnam restricts new universities in Hanoi and HCMC
The Prime Minister’s Decision number 37/2013/QD-TTg dated 26 June 2013 prohibits the establishment of new higher and further education institutions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City between 2016 and 2020. High priority will, instead, be given to the formation of higher education institutions in key economic zones in the Northern, Central, and Southern regions during the same period, reported Tuoi Tre News.
