University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is now equipped with the first industrial standard laboratory called, the Ambience Centre of Excellence or Advanced Multi-disciplinary MEMS-Based Integrated Electronics NCER Centre of Excellence. The RM5.07 mil centre was developed jointly by UniMAP, Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) and Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd and will focus on research on micro fabrication and micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS).
