Total of RMB1.2tr spent on vocational education in 10 years
From 2005 to 2013, the Chinese government spent RMB1.23tr on vocational education. Related officials from the Ministry of Education answered questions about vocational education. In 2013, China's investment in vocational education was about RMB345b, up three times from RMB93.9b in 2005. The Chinese government aims to boost the economy and employment by cultivating a large force of technical workers through enhanced vocational education.
