Support extended for Jeju English education project

South Korea’s government said that it will continue its support for a plan to transform Jeju Island into a global English education town until 2021.

The plan started in 2008 with the aim of building an English village on Jeju, where all schools will teach entirely in English.

In Jeju’s Seogwipo city, three international schools ― Korea International School, North London Collegiate School Jeju, and Branksome Hall Asia ― are up and running, with more than 1,000 local and international students combined. Reports Korea Herald.
