Strategic plan to boost Malaysian undergraduates’ English skills

Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education has put in place a strategic plan to enhance the proficiency in English among public university students. Under the new system, students will learn English according to their level of competencies. These will be categorised according to three tiers – English for Employment, Intensive English and General English, reports New Straits Times.
