Sri Lankan government introduces minimum qualification for Medical education

Subsequent to discussions with the Sri Lanka Medical Council, the Attorney General’s Department and other relevant parties, the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine has put forward a proposal for minimum qualifications for medical education in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, a candidate who possesses two credit passes and one simple pass in the G.C.E. Advance Level examination for Chemistry, Physics and Biology in one sitting is entitled to apply for medical education.
