South Korea puts first satellite into space

South Korea's third attempt to launch a satellite into space has been a success. Reports from Seoul on Wednesday said the 140-tonne rocket successfully completed its separation, allowing the satellite to enter orbit after two previous attempts failed. North Korea conducted a similar launch weeks ago, though US experts believe their rocket to be tumbling through space. Reported the Guardian
