Should entrepreneurship be included in the higher education curriculum in India?

Kyungsoo Kim was speaking at an international conference on ’Role of Management Education in Promoting Entrepreneurship in the Globalised Business Environment’ organised by Periyar Institute of Management Studies, the business school of Periyar University. At the conference he spoke about including entrepreneurship in the Indian curriculum at the higher education level.

Kyungsoo Kim also added that education and business were the common platforms between India and South Korea and that cooperation between the two countries should improve to provide quality education on entrepreneurship in India.

Going forward if Indian institutions decide to include entrepreneurship as a part of their curriculum, it will be an excellent opportunity for UK institutions to collaborate. Collaboration will help improve the presence of UK institutions in India, thereby giving an access to a talented pool of students.

British Council India will keep an eye on any developments in this regard and update the UK institutions about the same.
