In an implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince, the Secretary of Education issues a decision to continue approval for those on scholarships to study remotely at all academic levels until the end of 2020. Here’s the translation of the official announcement:

1. The Ministry will continue to approve/agree for scholars to study online until the end of 2020.
2. MOE will continue the stipend for those who completed and graduates during the spring and summer of 2020 and are unable to return to the kingdom, subject to returning the kingdom within a month of this decision/announcement.
3. MOE will continue the stipend for scholars only (no dependents) for those in the kingdom and continuing their study online due to the pandemic ( submit a separate request for cases with dependents requesting salaries/stipend)
4. MOE will continue to approve requests to defer scholarship awards for one year due to the pandemic.
