Related laws to be amended to facilitate the liberalisation of education services in ASEAN

The Ministry of Education will seek to amend related laws to facilitate the liberalisation of education services in ASEAN, in preparation for the realization of the ASEAN Community.

According to Mrs. Puangpet Chunlaiad, all agencies under the Ministry of Education are mobilising efforts to move toward ASEAN integration in 2015.

For instance, the Office of the Private Education Commission plans to seek the granting of visa extensions for foreign teachers from one year to two years.
