Practical maths to be introduced as an elective subject from 2018
The Ministry of Education announced a plan to introduce economic mathematics, actual mathematics and mathematics assignment study as an elective subject in high schools from 2018. This is as part of the Second Mathematics Education Comprehensive Plan, which put strengths on subject related practical life. Students are expected to learn ideas of economic activities, financial technologies and debt management through it.
