Politics driving parents to send children abroad

The campaign for full democracy in Hong Kong appears to be prompting some parents to consider sending their children to schools overseas to keep them away from the political brouhaha.

Some parents visiting a British Council education fair yesterday said they were tired of the seemingly endless rows between the rival pro-Beijing and pan-democrat political camps, and feared it could damage their children's futures.
