The China Youth and Children Research Center published results of a survey. About 70.1 per cent of senior high school students in China are interested in studying overseas. About 79.9 per cent of Chinese parents support their children to study overseas. Parents have eight reasons. The first is learning models in foreign countries are better than learning models in China. The second is preparing for employment in the future. The third is that children of other people have gone abroad. The fourth is that spirit is more important than physical things. The fifth is the living environment is better. The sixth is to build interpersonal relationships. The seventh is that a green card is very attractive.
