Pakistani students make their mark among international scientists

Three students from Pakistan have received international praise for their research on super-massive black holes and galaxy collision in space. These students are currently studying at Institute of Space Technology which is a public research university in Islamabad, Pakistan offering degrees in the study of astronomy, aerospace engineering and astronautics.

Their research has already been cited by the Science departments of leading colleges in the world including Harvard University, Columbia University and Stony Brook University. Focus of this study was to oversee the rotation of galaxies and the expansion of gigantic black holes in the universe.

According to reports, results of this study have been termed ‘outstanding’ by specialists in the field.  

The young research team from Pakistan was applauded by Farrukh Chistie who is an expert in the field of astrophysics by stating “I have a strong faith that these outstanding young researchers from Pakistan have the capability to play an effective role in advancing the cause of science along with the international community.”
