Overview of the Bangladesh higher education market, schools examination boards and what the numbers mean for UK institutions
This year in Bangladesh the HSC (under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Exams, Bangladesh Technical Education Board) examinations as well as Kamil exams started from 1 April 2015 which is the equivalent exam under Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board. The results of the examinations came out on 9 August 2015. Total pass rate for HSC and equivalent examinations is 69.60%. Students in Bangladesh, begin their preparation for university admissions right after completion of this exam.
