Over 200 joint training programmes approved

The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has announced a list of over 200 joint training programmes between Vietnam and other countries that have received official approval after extensive checks. According to a report released by the ministry’s Vietnam International Education Development Department (VIED), 212 programmes have been given the green light to continue their work while 15 existing courses have stopped recruiting students and six more have had to ceased their operations.  The list of MOET approved programmes (currently only available in Vietnamese) can be found at http://baodientu.chinhphu.vn/Uploaded_VGP/phungthithuhuyen/20130320/lkdt_2013_(02.3)[1].pdf

Other self-licensing bodies including the National Universities in Hanoi and HCM City, Thai Nguyen University, Da Nang University, Hue University and can make their own decision in licensing international programmes. Therefore, the joint training programmes of these universities are not included in the list from the URL above.
