The Open University of China launches 30 courses on the iTunes U service

The Open University of China launched more than 30 courses on the iTunes U service. Most of the courses are teaching programs of Chinese language and teaching resources of Chinese culture. In 2007, Apple announced the launch of "iTunes U" via its digital content store, iTunes, which delivers university lectures through a format called iTunesU. It is free to upload or download these documents through the online service. iTunes U includes lectures, language lessons, lab demonstrations, sports and campus tours provided by over 500 colleges and universities from around the world. So far, four universities in China have opened iTunes U accounts, reports www.jyb.cn
