Number of Chinese students studying in France on the rise

There are about 35,000 Chinese students studying in France now. According to the data published by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in 2005, there were about 15,000 Chinese students studying in France. The number increased to 25,000 in 2010, and to 35,000 now. The number of Moroccan students studying in France is the highest among international students. The number of Chinese students ranks second. In December, French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said he hopes the number of Chinese students in France can increase to 50,000 by 2015. Reports China Net
