The Managing Director of the Nigeria LNG (NLNG), Mr. Babs Omotowa, On Wednesday 19th March 2014 announced that under a new project called the NLNG University Support Programme (USP); the company has voted N2 billion for the development of engineering education in six Nigerian universities, selected to cover the six geo-political zones of the country.
The universities are University of Ibadan (UI), University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT), University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
